The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the comprehensive electrical works associated with the construction of the Functional Permanent Campus for the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) at Berhampur, Odisha. This significant project encompasses the construction of an Academic cum Administrative Building (G+6), multiple residential blocks (Type II and III, Type IV and IVs, Type V, Type VI), Directors Residence (G+1), a 656-bedded Hostel (S+8), Kitchen cum Dining (G+2), Guest House (G+2), a 500-seated Auditorium (GF), Health Centre (G+1), Community Centre (G), Commercial Facility Centre (S+1), and a Sports Complex (GF). The scope of work includes all internal and external services of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical nature, encompassing Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Water Treatment Plant (WTP), roads, footpaths, landscaping, and horticulture. Furthermore, the project will adhere to Fire, GRIHA, and IGBC compliance standards. A critical component of this tender includes carrying out part work at the risk and cost of the contractor for incomplete Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) works in Type V and Type VI Block 4 at IISER Berhampur. The estimated cost for this electrical works package is ₹13,75,522/- with an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹27,510/-. Bidders must possess a valid Electrical License, CPWD enlistment order, GST Registration, and PAN Card, among other mandatory documents. The tender documents will be available for download from August 22, 2026, 08:45 PM, until August 31, 2026, 03:00 PM, with the bid submission deadline also on August 31, 2026, at 03:00 PM, followed by bid opening on the same day at 03:30 PM.
