The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), specifically the Office of EE&SM(E)-1, invites open tenders (NIT/RFP NO: 02/EE&SM(E&M)/KPED/2026-27, Tender ID: 162649) from eligible NON-CPWD CONTRACTORS for "Annual repairs and maintenance to JIPMER Residential campus Karaikal for the FY 2026-27." This critical Electrical and Maintenance Works project entails a comprehensive scope, including: SH 1) Providing non-comprehensive annual maintenance for 2 Nos OTIS make 13-passenger lifts located in Type VI quarters and the Nurse Hostel; SH 2) Providing comprehensive annual maintenance for 12 Nos OTIS make lifts (6 Nos 13-passenger lifts and 6 Nos 15-passenger lifts) within the JIPMER Residential campus; and SH 3) Providing comprehensive annual maintenance for 1 No OTIS make lift in the Girls Hostel at Academic JIPMER Karaikal. The estimated cost for this essential work is ₹ 21,33,336 (Twenty One Lakh Thirty Three Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty Six Rupees). A Bid Security (EMD) of ₹ 42,667 is mandatory, payable in favour of The EE&SM(C)-II, KPD-II, CPWD, Karaikal-609602, through acceptable modes such as DD, FDR, CDR, BC, TC, or BG. Prospective bidders must ensure the submission of mandatory documents, including an Insurance surety bond or Account Payee Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque or FDR or Bank guarantee against EMD, a receipt for the deposition of Original EMD, and a GST Registration Certificate if applicable.
