The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, a central autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for the procurement of an Automated Immunohematology System with Platelet Crossmatch capability. This critical system is required on a reagent rental basis for the Department of Transfusion Medicine, under Tender Reference Number Pur.1(9)OeT/TM/OPEX/26-27(02). A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on 10-Jul-2026, 02:30 PM, at the Department of Transfusion Medicine, 3rd Floor, Blood Center, JIPMER, Puducherry. Bid submissions will commence on 14-Jul-2026, 09:00 AM, and conclude on 04-Aug-2026, 06:00 PM. The technical bids will be opened on 05-Aug-2026, 06:00 PM, at the Purchase Section, JIPMER. A non-refundable Tender Fee of ₹590/- and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,80,000/- are mandatory for participation. The EMD is payable to "The Director, JIPMER" and can be submitted through SBI Collect, JIPMER, with provisions for EMD exemption for registered MSMEs or submission via Bank Guarantee/Surety Bond as per tender terms. All payments for the tender fee and EMD are to be made offline. Bids must be submitted in a four-cover system: Cover 1 for Fee (Tender Fee & EMD receipts), Cover 2 for Pre-Qualification documents (including self-attested PAN, GST, Annual Turnover, and required affidavits), Cover 3 for Technical specifications (including product literature, manufacturer authorization, technical deviation statements, quality certificates, and supply orders), and Cover 4 for the Financial Bid (Price Bid). The contract period is 45 days, and the bid validity period is 999 days.
