The Public Works Department (PWD), through its Executive Engineer, RnB Kangan, invites eligible and experienced contractors to submit bids for an Open Tender (Tender ID: 2026_PWDJK_314218_3, Reference Number: ENIT 15) for significant civil works. The project, titled "Improvement Upgradation of Kangan Panzin Road form Km Ist by way of Macadamization under CnT Machine Mix Laid with Paver," aims to enhance critical road infrastructure within the region. The scope of work primarily involves the comprehensive improvement and upgradation of the Kangan Panzin Road, specifically from its first kilometer, through modern macadamization techniques using CnT Machine Mix laid with a paver. Located in Kangan, Jammu and Kashmir, this project is anticipated to be completed within an aggressive timeline of 15 days from the date of award. The contract for this work will be executed on a Percentage basis, under the supervision of the PWD's organisational chain, including the Chief Engineer Central Kashmir and Ganderbal Circle. The estimated Tender Value for this essential project is ₹ 38,84,090. Interested bidders are required to pay a non-refundable Tender Fee of ₹ 1,100, which is payable to the Executive Engineer RnB Kangan at Jammu and Kashmir. Additionally, an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹ 77,682, equivalent to 2.0% of the tender value, must be submitted. This EMD is also payable to the Executive Engineer RnB Kangan at Jammu and Kashmir and can be furnished through either a Fixed Deposit or a CDR (Cash Deposit). Submitted bids will maintain validity for a period of 120 days. Prospective bidders can download the detailed tender documents from 09:00 AM on 02-Jul-2026, with the document download period closing at 06:00 PM on 10-Jul-2026. The bid submission window will open concurrently on 02-Jul-2026 at 09:00 AM and will close at 06:00 PM on 10-Jul-2026. All technical and financial bids will be opened publicly on 11-Jul-2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer RnB Kangan. Bidders are required to submit their proposals as a single cover, encompassing all Fee/Pre-qualification, Technical, and Financial components. Critical documents to be submitted include the JKPWDOMS registration card with renewal, GST registration, latest clearance certificates, PAN card, EMD documents (such as CDR and treasury challan), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in the specified .xls format.
