The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is issuing a tender (Bid Number: GEM/2026/B/7812041) for comprehensive legal advisory services related to the governance of prominent national institutions. This bid, commencing on July 20, 2026, at 7:07 PM and closing on August 10, 2026, at 8:00 PM, seeks qualified entities to undertake a critical review and development of legal frameworks. The scope of work encompasses the review of existing statutory frameworks governing the IIMC, Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), and Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), as well as other Institutes of National Importance such as Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and National Institutes of Design (NIDs). Furthermore, the engagement includes the review and finalization of existing laws, rules, regulations, and SOPs, as well as providing essential legal opinions and assessments as required by IIMC on any related matters.
