The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) is inviting open tenders for the construction of a permanent campus for the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) at Jangalapalli village, Yerpedu Mandal, Chittoor District, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh (Phase - I). This project encompasses the construction of a compound wall along the Overflow Canal and a patrolling path, a 1.5 Lakh Litre capacity underground sump and pump room, repairs to the compound wall at sides of the underpass, and construction of sports and recreation facilities in the residential area, including all associated electrical, lighting, and mechanical works within the IISER campus. The estimated cost of the project is ₹ 14,94,91,914 and the time allowed for completion is 7 months. A mandatory Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹ 24,94,919 is required, payable via DD, FDR, CDR, BC, or BG in favor of The Executive Engineer & SM (C), Tirupati Project Division -I, CPWD, Tirupati.
