The Public Works Department, through the Executive Engineer, I, KSHED, P.W.Dte., is issuing an open tender for the comprehensive Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of a Fire Detection System (FDS) and Fire Damper System at the IPGMER-SSKM Hospital in Kolkata. This critical project aims to enhance fire safety measures in the Trauma Care Centre (Block G X), the New OPD building (Block G VIII), the Sports Medicine unit (Block G III), and the BIN New OPD building (Block G VIII), specifically addressing emergency escape lighting requirements as per revised fire safety recommendations. The estimated tender value for this work is ₹52,00,000, with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,04,000. Prospective bidders are required to submit their bids in two covers, with the finance cover containing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in `.xls` format and the technical/fee cover containing documents in `.pdf` format. The tender documents will be available for download from July 13, 2026, commencing at 01:15 PM, until August 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The bid submission period opens on July 21, 2026, at 06:00 PM and closes on August 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 20, 2026, at 02:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, KSHED, P.W.Dte., located at 75 D H Road, Kidderpore, Kol-23. The bid opening will take place on August 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the same venue. The completion period for the awarded work is stipulated as 90 days, with a bid validity of 120 days. This tender is an Item Rate contract and is open to all eligible bidders.
