The IRRIGATION AND WATERWAYS DEPT., a State Govt. and UT organization, invites open tenders for the project "WBIW/EE/SDP/RRI/eNIT-05 (e )/2025-26/1" which involves the assessment of the existing bed profile along the ferry route, approximately 3 km in length, near Lot 8 Kakdwip to Sagar in the river Muriganga. This assessment is in respect to dredging for the Ganga Sagar Mela 2027, to be conducted by the River Research Institute under WB Irri. The estimated tender value is ₹9,95,481 and an EMD of ₹19,910 (2.0% of the tender value) is required, with exemption allowed via BG/ST. Tender documents can be downloaded starting from March 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM and must be submitted by March 13, 2026, at 03:00 PM. The bid opening is scheduled for March 13, 2026, at 04:00 PM at the office of EE/SDP, MOHANPUR NADIA. This is a Percentage form of contract, and bidders should note the bid validity period is 120 days. Payment can be made online through ICICI BANK or ICICI NEFT/RTGS.
