This tender presents a critical opportunity for qualified suppliers to undertake comprehensive networking and power infrastructure upgrades at the Indian Maritime University, Kolkata Campus. The project, identified by Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7493158 and issued by the Indian Maritime University under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, requires the "SITC" (Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning) of a wide array of networking equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, 12U and 24-port wall mount racks, loaded patch panels, L2 and L3 smart network switches, 1GBPS SFP modules, CAT 6 information outlets, and various lengths of patch cords. Furthermore, the scope encompasses the supply and laying of CAT 6 cable, the SITC of 6-core fiber optic cable, 12-port LIUs, fiber optic patch cords, and modular switch sockets. The electrical component of this tender is equally significant, mandating the complete wiring using 1.5Sqmm and 16Sqmm cables, the installation of SPN MCB DBs, various ratings of Single Pole and Double Pole MCBs (06 Amp, 40 Amp, 63 Amp), 100 Amp Busbars, and 63 Amp Four Pole MCBs. This extensive project, with a total quantity of 4240 units across its diverse items, is scheduled to commence on August 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM and will conclude on August 27, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
