Work Description - Repair/maint/impv Of Service Connection System/ Power Distribution System Incl Allied Works At Jalapahar/katapahar Under Age I Darjeeling

The Military Engineer Services (MES), through the AGE I DARJEELING, invites eligible contractors for an Open Tender (Reference Number: 8250/E8, Tender ID: 2026_MES_774952_1) for "Works" category. This tender pertains to the critical REPAIR, MAINTENANCE, and IMPROVEMENT of the SERVICE CONNECTION SYSTEM and POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, including all allied works, at JALAPAHAR and KATAPAHAR under AGE I DARJEELING. The tender aims to secure a competent agency to ensure the uninterrupted functionality of essential power infrastructure in these locations. A non-refundable Tender Fee of ₹500 is also applicable, payable to AGE I DARJEELING at Darjeeling. The contract will be on an Item Rate basis, with the successful bidder expected to complete the work within a period of 180 days. Required payment instruments for EMD and Tender Fee include Bankers Cheque and Demand Draft. Key dates for prospective bidders are as follows: Document Download and e-Publication commenced on 27-Jun-2026 at 11:00 AM, with the Document Download End Date and Bid Submission End Date both set for 18-Jul-2026 at 06:00 PM. Bid submissions will be accepted from 13-Jul-2026 at 12:00 PM. The technical bids will be opened on 20-Jul-2026 at 10:00 AM at AGE I DARJEELING. Bidders are required to submit their proposals in two covers: Cover 1 for Fee/Pre-Qualification/Technical documents (including application, scanned copies of DD for fee, enlistment letter/documents for un-enlisted contractors, EPF certificate, GSTIN, and other important documents as per NIT), and Cover 2 for Financial bids (BOQ). All documents should be submitted as per the detailed instructions in the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT).
