The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) invites open percentage bids for the conversion of border security fence from Phase-II to new design fence across various border posts (BP) in the Cooch Behar District of West Bengal. This includes sections from BP No 846/7-S to 860/7-S (6.080 Km), BP No 860/7-S to 876/2-S (12.20 Kms), BP No 876/2-S to 900/MP (30.20 Km), BP No 900/MP to 925/MP (1.00 Km), BP No 978/1-S to 981/10-S (5.538 Km), and BP No 984/MP to 984/16-S (2.486 Km), totaling 57.504 Kms. Additionally, the project includes the replacement of Border Fencing Phase-II to NDF in between BP No 892/5-S to 900/4-S - 10.00 Km under Mathabhanga Sub Division (Total - 10.00 Kms) in Cooch Behar District of West Bengal under Guwahati Frontier (Package-IV). The estimated cost of the project is ₹ 29,69,88,437, and the time allowed for completion is 540 days. An Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹ 39,69,884 is required, payable via DD, FDR, BC, or BG in favor of the Executive Engineer, Border Fencing Division-IV, IBBZ-II, CPWD, Cooch Behar.
