The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), a Central Government Ministry/Department, invites open tenders for the conversion of border security fencing from phase II/III to a new design fence in West Bengal between BP No.243/MP to 764/2-S (Length 210.028 km), specifically in various stretches from BP No. 355/2-S to 357/1-S (4.725 km), 361/M to 365/M (6.329km), 385/2-S to 385/5-S (0.800km), near BP no. 399/8-R (0.030km), 401/6-S to 402/2-S (80.180 km), and 409/5-S to 417/8-S (15.383 km), totaling 27.447 km including intermediate BOPs, reverine structures (bridges, culverts), including gaps in fences and length of existing old fences which are not in the scope of this work etc., along the Indo-Bangladesh Border in the district of UD West Bengal (Package V) in EPC Mode III SW. Additionally, the tender includes providing watch and ward services for the CPWD office campus of Border Fencing Division II CPWD (IBBZ-I) Islampur. The estimated cost of the project is ₹ 4,37,238, and the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is ₹ 8,745, payable via DD, FDR, CDR or BC, in favor of Border Works - CE (IBBZ)-I, Siliguri - EE(C ), BFD-II, Islampur - AE(C)-1.
