Work Description - Construction Work Of Science City At Jhajra, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. (sh: Finishing Work Of Entrance Plaza, Science Exploration Block, Space Odyssey Block, Ancillary Block & Convention Centre I/c Water Supply/plumbing Lines, Sanitary Lines, Storm Water Lines, Internal Ei, Lifts, Fire Alarm System, Ups, Cctv, Lan System, Ipbax System Etc.) (phase-ii).

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), through its EE-Dehradun office located at 20 Subhash Road, invites open percentage bids for a significant civil works project. This tender pertains to Phase-II of the construction of the Science City at Jhajra, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, specifically focusing on the comprehensive finishing work for the Entrance Plaza, Science Exploration Block, Space Odyssey Block, Ancillary Block, and Convention Centre. The estimated cost for this undertaking is ₹ 41,40,01,949 (Forty One Crore Forty Lakh One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty Nine Rupees), with a stipulated completion period of 12 months. A mandatory Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹ 51,40,200 is required, payable to EE, DCD-I, CPWD, Dehradun via DD, FDR, CDR, BC, or BG. Prospective bidders can download documents and submit their bids starting from 24-Jul-2026 at 08:33 PM, with the final deadline for bid submission and document download set for 07-Aug-2026 at 03:00 PM. Bids will be opened shortly thereafter on 07-Aug-2026 at 03:30 PM. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 30-Jul-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chamber of CE, CPWD, Dehradun, with queries accepted until 10:00 AM on the same day. Eligibility requires bidders to possess a valid enlistment order as CPWD contractors in the appropriate class of the Building and Road composite category. Mandatory documents include a scanned copy of the original EMD/receipt, Permanent Account Number (PAN), GST registration certificate for Uttarakhand (or an undertaking), a valid electrical license (or an undertaking for obtaining/associating), a declaration about site inspection (Form A), bidding capacity forms (Form B and B1), an undertaking for the association of agencies for specialized items of work, and proof of compulsory ERP training.
