Work Description - Electrical Supply, Installation, Testing And Commissioning (sitc) Of 3 Nos. Of 20 Kva Online Ups Of Newly Allocated Spaces For Te-mobix Project In Academic Buildings, Iit(bhu), Varanasi.

The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, a Central Government Ministry/Department, through its Superintending Engineer, Institute Works Department, IIT(BHU), Varanasi-221005, U.P., invites eligible bidders for an Open Tender for the "Electrical Supply, installation, testing and commissioning (SITC) of 3 Nos. of 20 kva Online UPS for Newly allocated spaces for Te-mobix project in Academic buildings, IIT(BHU), Varanasi." This critical works project, identified by Tender Reference Number IIT(BHU)/IWD/ET-27/2026-27/294, has an estimated value of ₹21,92,425 and is expected to be completed within 120 days from the date of award. The tender was e-published on July 16, 2026, at 04:00 PM. Interested bidders can download the tender documents and commence bid submission from July 16, 2026, 04:00 PM onwards. The deadline for document download and bid submission is July 30, 2026, at 04:00 PM. Bids will be opened on July 31, 2026, at 04:00 PM at the Institute Works Department, IIT(BHU), Varanasi. A mandatory Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹44,000 is required, payable to the "Registrar, IIT(BHU)" at Varanasi, via Demand Draft or FDR. No tender fee is applicable for this procurement. Bidders must submit their proposals in a two-cover system, comprising a Technical/Fee/Pre-Qualification cover and a Finance cover. The Technical cover must include copies of bidder registration with relevant authorities (CPWD/CPSUs/Central Universities/IITs/NITs/IIMs/Railways/MES/UPPWD etc.), a scanned copy of the EMD instrument, a valid Electrical License issued by DG, Electrical Safety UP Govt. Lucknow, solvency certificate, an affidavit as per clause 1.2.2, work experience and completion certificates for the last three years ending March 31, 2024, along with "no loss" certificates, turnover attested by a CA, GST registration, PAN card, and EPF or ESI details, and qualifications and experience of proposed key site management and technical personnel. The Finance cover should contain the duly filled-in priced Bill of Quantities (BoQ) in .xls format and a scanned copy of the priced BoQ in PDF format. The bid validity period is 180 days.
