The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, through its Institute Works Department, is pleased to announce an Open Tender for comprehensive electrical installation, wiring, illumination, and related works. This project, valued at approximately ₹12,03,011 and scheduled for completion within 120 days, encompasses essential electrical infrastructure upgrades across various key locations within the institute. Specifically, the scope of work includes the installation of power points, light and fan points, and lighting systems in washrooms, the lawn area, the CSE Annex building, and the IWAN Lab, all within the CSE Department at IIT (BHU), Varanasi. The Tender Inviting Authority is The Superintending Engineer, IWD, IIT(BHU), Varanasi. Prospective bidders are advised that tender documents are available for download from August 24, 2026, 04:00 PM, until August 31, 2026, 04:00 PM. Bids must be submitted between August 24, 2026, 04:00 PM, and August 31, 2026, 04:00 PM. The Bid Opening will take place on September 1, 2026, at 04:00 PM at the Institute Works Department, IIT (BHU), Varanasi. A fixed Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹24,500 is required, payable to the Registrar, IIT (BHU), Varanasi. The tender requires a two-cover submission system, with Cover 1 encompassing fee/pre-qualification/technical documents including bidder registration copies, valid electrical licenses, solvency certificates, work experience, financial standing certificates, and personnel qualifications, and Cover 2 containing the duly filled priced Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
