Advanced Tactical Simulation and Immersive Training System Procurement

This tender, under Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7146359, issued by the Department of Military Affairs, Ministry of Defence, for the Indian Army, seeks the procurement of a comprehensive suite of advanced technology for tactical training and simulation. The procurement includes 50 units of Instructor station Desktop PCs, instructor software licenses, and Tablets with client software licenses. Critically, the tender encompasses cutting-edge hardware for immersive visualization and tactical planning, such as an Augmented Mixed Reality Sand Model Device with holographic software for visualizing tactical plans, and the development of immersive 3D terrain data covering 1500 SQKM of Area of Responsibility (AOR) with on-ground operation planning drill capability, alongside 300 SqKM of street-view 3D terrain. A secure, encrypted server with 4 TB storage and 32 GB RAM running on a Linux OS is also required for simulation and content storage. To support terrain visualization and briefings, 100 units of 4K Smart UHD LED Displays with 2.1 audio systems are requested. Furthermore, high-performance desktop PCs with 27-inch LED UHD Displays are part of the requirement, alongside Immersive Virtual Reality systems boasting 5K resolution, 5m cables, and customized VR-based software for scenario visualization and mission planning. The tender also specifies the need for VR Supporting Weapon Integration Kits, Full Body Motion Suits with sensors and trackers, Precision Hand Tracking Capture Gloves, and Omni-directional Treadmills for navigation within simulated environments.
