The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), through the Executive Engineer (Civil), Border Fencing Division-II, Agartala, is inviting bids for essential consultancy services for the "Conversion of Border Security Fence from Phase- III to New Design Fencing along IBB in Tripura Sector from BP No 2071 3S to 2076M Length 5.152 KM." This critical project encompasses the provision of consultancy services for comprehensive Geotechnical (Soil) Investigation and detailed Structural Design of all necessary components for a new design border fencing system. The scope of work specifically includes the design of foundations, retaining walls, culverts, fencing posts, fencing pavement, and any other related structural elements. This consultancy is a vital part of the larger initiative to upgrade border fencing along the Indo-Bangladesh Border, specifically within the Area of Responsibility of the 199 BN BSF, SHQ BSF Panisagar, under the Tripura Frontier State. The estimated cost for this consultancy is INR 13,84,000, with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 27,680 required.
