Comprehensive CCTV Surveillance System Installation for NIOT Chennai

The National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, is seeking bids for a comprehensive CCTV Surveillance System. This tender, identified by Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7911048, involves the supply and commissioning of a state-of-the-art security infrastructure at their Chennai facility. Key components of the proposed system include various types of IP cameras (Fixed Bullet and VFL Bullet), a high-capacity 64-channel 8-SATA NVR with substantial storage for a minimum of one month's backup at 4-6Mbps, and a range of Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches of varying port counts to support the camera network. The tender also specifies the need for robust mounting solutions including Hot Dipped Galvanised Iron pole mounting kits, outdoor racks, and floor-mounted racks for the server room. Display units, including 43-inch and 65-inch business displays, are required for monitoring. Furthermore, the project necessitates the supply and installation of extensive cabling, including CAT 6 UTP, 3-Core 1.5 Sqmm Armoured Cable, and various Single-Mode OFC cables (6-Core and 12-Core), along with associated OFC modules, SFP transceivers, and LIUs. The installation will also include HDPE ducting, PVC piping, and anti-bird deterrents. Essential power backup solutions are required in the form of a 3 KVA Online UPS with one-hour battery backup and a dedicated UPS rack. The scope of work extends to civil works such as horizontal boring, laying, refilling, road cutting, packing, soft soil digging, and brick paver block removal and refixing, along with overall implementation charges.
