The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways invites open tenders for the work of strengthening various sections and reconstructing a culvert on the Kadayam - Mukkudal road (SH-40A). Specifically, this project involves strengthening from km 3/2 - 3/8, 4/4 - 7/4, 9/4 - 9/6, 13/0 -15/0, 16/0 - 17/0, 18/6 -20/0 and 20/4 - 22/0 and reconstruction of culvert at km 16/6. The estimated tender value is ₹10,95,03,000 and the project completion period is 210 days. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for December 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the O/o Superintending Engineer, NH,Madurai address. Interested bidders must submit their bids by January 5, 2026, 03:00 PM. The bid opening will take place on January 6, 2026, at 03:00 PM at the same location. A fixed EMD of ₹5,58,000 is required, payable to the Divisional Engineer NH Tirunelveli, and a tender fee of ₹17,700 is also payable to the same. Bidders must submit scanned copies of attested PQ documents, work site inspection certificate and plant/machinery certificates, bid security, document fee receipt, GST receipt, signed bid documents, and the price bid in two covers.
