The Ministry of Railways, through its Salem Division - Engineering / Southern Railway, headquartered at DRM Office, Suramangalam /PO, Salem, invites bids for an Open/Advertised tender (Reference No. SA-OT-06-2026-08) pertaining to critical railway infrastructure works. This comprehensive tender, categorized under 'Goods' and 'Railway related Products', encompasses three primary components for execution across the Salem Division: (1) the conversion of 15.533 Km of FP/SWR track to LWR track (covering sections like ED, PTJ, S SA, and NMKL), which includes the provision of 22 sets of TWSEJ and 148 sets of Glued Joints; (2) the casual renewal of 140 sets of conventional SEJs with Thick Web SEJs and the renewal of 200 sets of Glued Joints (comprising 150 nos. of 60kg and 50 nos. of 52Kg types) over various sections of the division; and (3) the renewal of guard rails and sleepers on Bridges/ROB/FOB within the Salem Division.
