The Highways Department, a State Govt. and UT organization, invites open tenders for the construction of a PCC Retaining wall at Km 22/0-23/0, 27/0-28/0 and 28/0-29/0 for the main work of Forming and Improving Western Bypass road to Tirunelveli town branching from km 148/8 of NH 44 (Thazhaiyuthu) and ending at km 169/6 of NH 44. The project, referenced as TN No 19 2025-26 SDO Dated.17.02.2026, is valued at ₹2,92,41,874 with a completion period of 90 days and the location is Tirunelveli. Interested bidders can download tender documents starting from February 21, 2026, at 06:55 PM and must submit their bids by February 27, 2026, at 12:15 PM. Bids will be opened on February 27, 2026, at 03:15 PM at the O/o the Superintending Engineer Highways Projects, Alagarkovil Main Road Madurai 2. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location. An Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,56,000 is required. The tender includes two covers, one for technical documents (Highways Department Registration Renewal, GST certificate and Worksite Inspection certificate, and Pre Qualification document, Tender Conditions (Volume-II)) and another for the financial bid (Bill of Quantities).
