The Chief Engineer, Public Works Department, Chennai, invites open tenders for the construction of 21 classrooms, 1 boys' toilet, and 1 girls' toilet at Government Arts College (A), Coimbatore. This is a lump-sum contract with a total tender value of ₹8,54,90,000. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is fixed at ₹4,37,500, payable to Nil. Interested bidders must possess PWD Registration with a live certificate and a Revenue Solvency Certificate, along with other essential documents such as EC as per solvency certificate, ITR for the last 5 years, GST registration and clearance for 3 months, details of major works completed in the preceding 5 years, and evidence of similar nature of work not less than 50% of the tender value. Also required are annual turnover details for the preceding 5 years, audited balance sheets, working capital certificate from a bank authority, affidavits, undertakings authorized by a Notary public, technical persons affidavits by Notary public, tools and plants affidavits of CA, Site Visit Certificate issued by the concerned EE, PQ Tender Condition, and Schedule Forms A to H. The work is to be completed within 450 days, and the bid validity is 120 days.
