Work Description - Transport Of Cone Yarn

The Commissionerate of Textiles, a State Government and UT organization, invites open tenders for the transportation of cone yarn for The ramanathapuram district co op spinning mills, Achankulam. The Tender Reference Number is 190/2023-24/EC-2. The tender documents can be downloaded starting December 5th, 2025, at 06:55 PM and must be submitted by December 19th, 2025, before 11:00 AM. The bid opening will take place on December 19th, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Achankulam mill. A fixed Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹35,000 is required, although EMD exemption is allowed, and a tender fee of ₹100 is applicable, with exemption also allowed. Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of three years of experience in goods transportation, capacity to transport at least 120 M.T per month, an annual business turnover of ₹50 Lakh in the transport business in any one of the last three years, and valid permits, licenses, insurance, and Pollution Control Board certificates for their vehicles. They should also have prior experience handling yarn bags/bales, own goods vehicles/lorries, and must not have been blacklisted by any Government organization in the last three years. The tender comprises two covers: a Fee/PreQual/Technical cover including documents like experience, capacity, turnover, vehicle details, EMD form, and a Finance cover containing the price bid. The tender is item-wise, and withdrawal is not allowed.
