The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) is inviting open tenders for the construction of a (G+5) Boys Hostel and Dining Block for UG, PG, and Research Scholars at NIFTEM, Thanjavur. This composite project is valued at approximately ₹47.26 Crore and encompasses both civil and electromechanical works. The civil component (SH-I) includes building construction with water supply, sanitary installation, civil external service connections, sewer lines, an overhead tank (OHT) without independent staging, waterproofing, an underground sump, parking sheds, development works including leveling, paver block, internal roads, and other miscellaneous works. The electromechanical component (SH-II) involves several packages including internal electrical installations (C1), fire alarm systems (C2), firefighting systems (C3), the provision of four 13-passenger lifts (C4), a 60 kWp solar PV system (C5), a solar water heater (C6), CCTV systems (C7), and networking infrastructure (C8). The tender, identified by reference number 31/EE/TRICHY-1/07/NIT/SE (TRICHY)/CPWD/2025-26, requires an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹57,25,560, payable via DD, FDR, CDR, BC, TC, or BG in favor of the Executive Engineer, Trichy Central Division, CPWD, Trichy.
