Sh: Widening, Strengthening And Resurfacing Of Existing Bitumen Road To Approach Academic Block And Construction Of Car Parking Shed At Academic Block.

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) invites open percentage bids for the construction of an Academic block (G+2) at the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology in Salem. This comprehensive project, valued at approximately ₹86,18,278, includes internal electrical installations, lightning conductors, external LT service connections, a DG set, firefighting systems with a down comer, an automatic fire alarm system, a lift, a solar PV system, a VRF/VRV AC system, LAN networking, CCTV, and an IP-based EPBAX audio-visual system. The scope of work also encompasses widening, strengthening, and resurfacing the existing bitumen road to access the Academic Block, along with constructing a car parking shed. Interested bidders must download tender documents between February 19, 2026, and February 27, 2026, before 3:00 PM. Bids must be submitted electronically by February 27, 2026, before 3:00 PM and will be opened on the same day at 3:30 PM. A mandatory Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,72,366, payable via DD, FDR, BC, or BG in favor of the Executive Engineer, CCD, CPWD, Coimbatore, is required. Bidders must also provide several mandatory documents, including insurance security bonds, EMD deposition receipts, enlistment orders valid on the tender opening date, GST registration certificates (with undertakings for Tamil Nadu GST registration if applicable), GST filed return acknowledgements for December 2025 or later, LMS ERP training certificates, site inspection undertakings, notarized affidavits of non-blacklisting, letters of transmittal, and undertakings on structural stability.
