Coimbatore Airport Fire Damper System Installation & Integration

This tender presents an opportunity to supply, install, commission, and integrate a comprehensive fire damper system at Coimbatore International Airport, operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The project, identified by Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7869915, falls under the purview of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The scope of work encompasses the System Integration, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of various fire dampers with specific actuator torque requirements (9Nm and 20Nm, 230V). Furthermore, it includes the fabrication, supply, installation, balancing, and commissioning of on-site manufactured Galvanized Stainless Steel (GSS) sheet metal rectangular ducting in both 0.8 mm and 1.00 mm thicknesses. The project also requires the supply and fixing of acoustic lining and 19 mm Nitrile rubber insulation, alongside the dismantling of existing air conditioning ducts. Essential control components such as a control panel for 230V actuators and an AHU Tripping Panel are to be supplied and commissioned. The scope extends to the supply of 2x1.5 sqmm Copper Control Cables, along with the laying and fixing of cable trays and XLPE power cables (up to 35 sq. mm, 1.1 KV) on wall surfaces, including the necessary end terminations. The ultimate objective is the seamless integration of all supplied devices for the activation of the Air Handling Unit (AHU). Bids are to be submitted between 03-08-2026 (5:10 PM) and 24-08-2026 (5:00 PM). The total estimated quantity for this significant undertaking is 4323 units.
