The Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JdVVNL), through the office of the Superintending Engineer (RE-DSM), Jodhpur, is pleased to announce an Open Tender for the procurement of pilot-based small-scale standalone decentralized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This initiative, designated with Tender Reference Number TN-DSM-116, will be conducted through tariff-based competitive bidding on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model. The scope of work encompasses the supply, installation, and comprehensive 15-year Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for a total capacity of 150 MW with a corresponding storage of 600 MWh, to be strategically located at identified 33 kV and 11 kV Grid Substations within the Jodhpur Discom jurisdiction. The total tender value is estimated at ₹ 6,30,00,00,000. Prospective bidders are invited to download tender documents commencing from July 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with the download window closing on August 12, 2026, at 05:00 PM. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 22, 2026, at 03:00 PM, to be held at the Conference Hall, 1st Floor, Vidyut Bhawan, Jaipur, providing an opportunity for clarification and discussion. Bid submission will commence on August 01, 2026, at 03:00 PM and conclude on August 12, 2026, at 05:00 PM. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is ₹ 12,60,00,000, representing 2.0% of the tender value, with provisions for EMD through Bank Guarantee (BG) or Standby Letter of Credit (ST) or exemption allowed as per tender documents. The tender involves three covers: Cover 1 for payment of tender fee, e-processing fee, and bid security; Cover 2 for Pre-Qualification/Technical documents; and Cover 3 for financial bids. The bid opening will take place on August 14, 2026, at 03:00 PM at the SE(RE-DSM), JdVVNL, Jodhpur office.
