Work Description - Estimate For Resectioning And Clearance Of Sarkanda, Weed, Jala, Booty Etc. From The Drain From The Bed And Sides Of Khokhar Link Drain In Between Rd 0-11600 Before The Flood Season Of 2026 To Save Nearby Abas And Agriculturable Land.

The Department of Water Resources, through the Executive Engineer, Drainage Division Sangrur, invites eligible and experienced bidders for an Open Tender (Reference No. 25/2026-27, Tender ID: 2026_WR_170900_11) for critical civil works. This tender concerns the "Estimate for Resectioning and clearance of sarkanda, weed, jala, booty etc. from the drain from the bed and sides of Khokhar Link Drain in between RD 0-11600 before the flood season of 2026 to save nearby abadies and agriculturable land" located in Sangrur. The primary objective of this project is to undertake essential resectioning and comprehensive clearance of various obstructions, including sarkanda, weed, jala, and booty, from the Khokhar Link Drain. This vital work, spanning from RD 0-11600, is crucial for flood prevention and safeguarding adjacent habitations and valuable agricultural land, especially in anticipation of the 2026 flood season. The contract will be based on an Item Rate format, with an estimated Period of Work of 45 days. A non-refundable Tender Fee of ₹ 1500 (comprising ₹ 500 Tender Fee and ₹ 1000 Processing Fee) is applicable, though exemption is allowed.
