The Department of Local Government (State Govt. and UT), acting through the CE(B and R), invites open tenders for the "Improvement of existing infrastructure and development of new pedestrian and drainage system and grill work at Kapurthala Road Canal to Jalandhar Kunj," spanning approximately 8 km within the Municipal Corporation Jalandhar (MCJ) area (Pincode 144009). This critical Civil Works project, identified by Tender Reference Number MCJ/(B and R) 2026-27/13 and Tender ID 2026_DLG_171402_3, has an estimated value of ₹ 5,78,00,000. Prospective bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹ 11,56,000 (2.0% of the tender value), as EMD exemption is not permitted.
