CR Building Jalandhar Washroom Renovation: Old Wing & 1st/2nd Floor Upgrades

This tender, with Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7947620, issued by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) under the Ministry of Finance, invites qualified contractors for the comprehensive renovation of all washrooms located in the Old Wing, as well as the 1st and 2nd floors of the CR Building in Jalandhar. The scope of work, as detailed in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) titled "Renovation of all Washrooms of Old Wing and that of 1st and 2nd floor at C R Building Jalandhar," encompasses a wide range of activities crucial for modernizing these facilities. Key items within the BOQ include the dismantling of existing tile work in floors and roofs, the provision and laying of integral cement-based waterproofing, and the installation of vitrified floor tiles measuring 600x600 mm. The project also specifies the application of 2 mm thick plaster of Paris putty for surface preparation, the fitting of white vitreous china squatting pan water closets (Orissa pattern), and white vitreous china flat back or wall corner type lipped front urinal basins. Furthermore, the tender includes the provision and fixing of white vitreous china wash basins (630x450 mm), CPVC pipes for hot and cold water supply, and CP brass angle valves for basin mixers and geyser points of approved quality. Demolition of existing steel or wooden doors and windows is also required, to be replaced with 24mm thick factory-made PVC door shutters constructed from uPVC hollow sections and two-track, two-panel sliding windows with aluminium channels. Finally, the renovation extends to interior finishing, including wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint (two coats) and distempering with first-quality acrylic distemper, along with the installation of 18-watt LED lights and vitreous china toilet paper holders.
