Bio-processing Unit CCTV Surveillance System Upgrade and Installation

This tender seeks bids for the comprehensive reconfiguration of the CCTV Surveillance System at the Bio-processing Unit (BPU), a division of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), operating under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The project, identified by Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7950492 and dated August 22, 2026, will commence on August 22, 2026, and conclude with bid submissions by September 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The scope of work encompasses the supply, laying, and terminal connectorization of a complete CCTV system, including 5 MP IP Bullet Cameras, 5 MP IP Dome Cameras, a 16-channel NVR with 4 HDD support, a 28-port full Gigabit Managed POE Switch, 2 TB Surveillance Hard Disks, and 4-port Gigabit POE Switches. Additionally, the tender requires the provision and installation of CAT 06 outdoor cable, 25mm medium PVC conduit with accessories, RJ 45 connectors, PVC junction boxes for bullet cameras, 3m HDMI cables, and power extension boards. A critical component of the project involves the intricate laying of MS conduit and HDPE pipe on various terrains, including soft soil and hard surfaces, necessitating road cutting and restoration to original site requirements. The overall installation includes the integration of cameras, junction boxes, POE switches, and the establishment of network connectivity for both cameras and NVRs, with a total quantity of 788 items to be supplied and installed.
