Work Description - Construction Of 400 Bedded Boys Hostel Building At Jipmer Campus, Puducherry. (civil Work): Building Portion Including Internal Water Supply Lines, Sanitary Installation, Drainage, Demolition Of Existing Quarters & Other Development Works. The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), through the Executive Engineer (Puducherry-I), Nirman Bhawan, Puducherry, invites open percentage bids from eligible and experienced contractors for the significant project of "Construction of 400 Bedded Boys Hostel Building at JIPMER Campus, Puducherry." This comprehensive undertaking, identified by NIT/RFP NO: 13/EE(Civil)Puducherry-I/CPWD/2026-27, primarily involves extensive Civil Works, encompassing the building's structural elements, internal water supply, sanitary installations, drainage, and the demolition of existing quarters, alongside other essential development works. Furthermore, the project includes crucial Electrical and Mechanical Installations, structured into various packages: internal electrical systems (C1), fire alarm systems (C2), firefighting systems (C3), CCTV (C4), provision of three 13-passenger lifts (C5), installation of a 5000 LPD Solar Water Heater (C6), and networking infrastructure (C7). An important sub-head of this project also covers Risk & Cost under clause 14 for the execution of Road work and fencing work in the back and left side portions of the site. The estimated cost for this project is ₹59,96,822 (Rupees Fifty Nine Lakh Ninety Six Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty-Two Only), with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,19,936 required, payable via DD, FDR, BC, or BG in favour of the Executive Engineer(Puducherry), CPWD, Puducherry. The tender process commences with document download and bid submission from 12-Jun-2026 at 04:25 PM, with the deadline for bid submission and document download being 19-Jun-2026 at 04:30 PM. Bids will be opened on the same day, 19-Jun-2026, at 05:00 PM.
