Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), through its Innovation Cell, invites Expression of Interest (EOI) via an Open Tender (Reference Number: MCL/HQ/INN.CELL/2026-27/1329) for the preparation of a Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) for an Integrated Coal Gasification Project, designed to consume 20 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of coal at the pithead within the IB Coalfields of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited. This contract is for empanelment and has a stipulated period of work of 120 days. The tender, classified under Works/Miscellaneous Works, was e-published on 13th July 2026 at 06:55 PM. Interested bidders can download tender documents from 14th July 2026, 10:00 AM, until 13th August 2026, 05:00 PM. A pre-bid meeting will be held online via VC on 24th July 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid submissions will commence on 25th July 2026, 10:00 AM, and close on 13th August 2026, 05:00 PM, with bids opening on 14th August 2026, 11:30 AM, at MCL HQ. There is no tender fee or EMD required for participation. Bidders are required to submit their proposals in two covers: the first for Fee/Pre-Qualification/Technical documents including PAN, GST, Undertaking, Work Experience, and Average Financial Turnover from Consultancy Services, and the second for the Finance cover containing the Budgetary Estimate.
