The Department of Military Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, represented by the Indian Army, is seeking comprehensive supply and installation services for a diverse range of telecommunications and networking infrastructure components. This tender, identified by Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7702883, initiated on July 30, 2026, and concluding on August 10, 2026, requires the provision of materials categorized under Cat 6 UPT Cable, including 305-meter rolls, alongside patch cords of varying lengths (5 meters, 1.5 meters, and 3 meters). The scope further extends to essential infrastructure elements such as HDPE pipe for Optical Fiber Cable (OFC), conduit pipes (25mm), road crossings utilizing 2-inch GI pipes, and RCC chambers for OF joints. Power backup solutions are specified, including a 2KVA UPS with a three-hour backup, alongside ACDB with rack closure and RJ 45 connector boxes. Networking hardware encompasses Optical Layer Manageable Switches, LIU 24-port SC type, IO boxes (single port), 24-port patch panels, SFP modules (10G), and 24-core armored OFC cable. Physical infrastructure for IT equipment is also part of this requirement, with a need for 12U wall-mounted racks and 27U racks.
