Indian Army Fiber Optic and CCTV Network Repair and Maintenance in Indore

This tender invitation is issued by the Department of Military Affairs, under the Ministry of Defence, for essential repair and maintenance services for the Indian Army's optical fiber cable and CCTV network infrastructure in Indore. The scope of work encompasses a comprehensive range of activities critical for ensuring the operational readiness of surveillance and networking systems. Specifically, the bid requires the repair and maintenance of optical fiber cables, including the laying of supporting wire between CCTV cameras and switches for a length of 530 meters. Furthermore, it involves the maintenance of existing cables, patch cords, and pigtails, along with proper dressing within the server room. Splicing of both 6-core and 8-core fiber optic cables over multiple points for a total of 530 meters is also a key requirement. The tender also calls for the repair of chargers for 25 CCTV bullet and PTZ cameras, and the repair and maintenance of 600 meters of 4-pair UTP outdoor Cat-6 cable. Additionally, the scope includes replacing broken PVC conduit pipes, flexible pipes, and HDPE pipes, along with band jointers for the UTP cables, over 600 meters. Regular cleaning and maintenance of all networking switches, racks, adapters, and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) are also mandated.
