The Public Works Department (PWD), a State Government and UT organization, through its Tender Inviting Authority, the Executive Engineer, PWD RIQCL, Ernakulam, invites open tenders for the "GENERAL CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BUILDING FOR GOVT L.P SCHOOL VAIKOM TOWN IN KOTTAYAM DISTRICT Soil Investigation Investigation Work" located in Vaikom. This work, with an estimated value of ₹1,85,224, primarily involves providing site access, mobilization of tools and plants, detailed soil investigation with two boreholes to a depth of 60m, collecting disturbed and undisturbed samples, conducting SPT and laboratory tests, and submitting a comprehensive soil investigation report. A tender fee of ₹850 (₹555 tender fee + ₹295 processing fee) is required, along with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹4,631, though EMD exemption through BG/ST is allowed. The contract will be on a percentage basis, and bids are required in two covers: one for Fee/Pre-Qualification/Technical documents including experience certificates (minimum 3 years for investigation works within Kerala), valid registration, GST documents, and certificates of appointed Geotechnologist; and the second for the Finance (BOQ) document.
