The Irrigation Department, a State Government and UT organization, invites open tenders for emergency tree cutting work in the Malampuzha canal premises, specifically addressing the threat posed by trees to life and property along the canal bunds between Ch20/000 km to 32/000 km of Malampuzha RB Main canal and all branch canals under the Malampuzha Canal section Mundur. The project, titled "GENERAL - MP - RBC - MONSOON PREPAREDNESS -2025-26-EMERGENCY WORK FOR TREE CUTTING," aims to mitigate risks associated with heavy monsoon rains and wind causing tree uprooting. The estimated tender value is ₹2,53,678 with an EMD of ₹6,342 and a tender fee of ₹560. The contract, of the Item Rate form, allows for EMD exemption through BG/ST. Interested bidders can download tender documents starting May 31, 2025, at 05:00 PM, with the deadline for document download and bid submission being June 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened on June 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Head works Sub Division Malampuzha Irrigation, where the work will be located. The Assistant Executive Engineer is the Tender Inviting Authority. The period of work is 60 days, and bids will remain valid for 60 days.
