The Executive Engineer (XEN), Rural Engineering Wing (REW), Kathua, under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, invites eligible and experienced contractors to participate in an Open Tender for the "Construction of a lane from PMGSY Road to ST Mohalla Surjan, Panchayat Surjan, Block Duggan." This crucial civil works project, identified by e-NIT No.54/REW/K of 2026-27 Dated 23/06/2026, has an estimated Tender Value of ₹ 1,96,000 and is expected to be completed within 30 days. Interested bidders can download tender documents and submit their proposals online starting from June 23, 2026, at 06:00 PM. The last date for document download and bid submission is June 30, 2026, by 04:00 PM. Bids will be opened on July 01, 2026, at 12:00 PM, at the office of XEN REW Kathua. A Tender Fee of ₹ 500 and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹ 3,920 (2.0% of the tender value) are mandatory, payable to "Rural Development and Panchayati Raj" at Jammu and Kashmir. EMD can be paid via Demand Draft, Bank Guarantee, Bankers Cheque, Bankers Pay Order, Fixed Deposit, Saving Certificates, or Cash Deposit (CDR). Bids will be evaluated under a two-cover system: Cover 1 for Fee/Pre-Qualification/Technical documents, and Cover 2 for the Finance (Bill of Quantity) submission. Bidders must ensure their proposal remains valid for 120 days from the bid opening date.
