The Executive Engineer (XEN), Rural Engineering Wing (REW), Kathua, on behalf of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, invites competitive Open Tenders for the **"Balance work of Lane/Drain from PMGSY road to Laxmi Naraya"** located in Mandli. This critical civil works project, identified by e-NIT No.81/REW/K of 2026-27 Dated 06/07/2026, aims to complete essential infrastructure development within a stipulated period of 90 days, with a tender value estimated at ₹1,30,000. Interested and eligible bidders are invited to download tender documents starting from July 6, 2026, at 06:00 PM, until July 13, 2026, at 04:00 PM. Bid submissions will commence simultaneously on July 6, 2026, at 06:00 PM, and conclude on July 13, 2026, at 04:00 PM. The technical and financial bids, submitted in a two-cover system (Cover 1 for Fee/Pre-qualification/Technical and Cover 2 for Finance), will be opened on July 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM, at the office of XEN REW Kathua. A non-refundable tender fee of ₹500 and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹2,600 (equivalent to 2.0% of the tender value) are mandatory for participation. Both the tender fee and EMD are payable to "Rural Development and Panchayati Raj" at Jammu and Kashmir. The EMD can be submitted through various offline instruments including Demand Draft, Bank Guarantee, Bankers Cheque, Bankers Pay Order (BPO), Fixed Deposit, Saving Certificates, or CDR (Cash Deposit). This tender operates on a Percentage Form of Contract, and all interested contractors with relevant experience in civil works are encouraged to participate.
