The Public Works Department (PWD), a State Government and UT organization, invites applications for an Open Tender (E-NIT No 43/206-27/3298-3302/G Dated 25.06.2026) from eligible and experienced contractors for crucial civil works involving the "Macadamization of various roads under City n Town (2025-26)" in the Kathua region. This significant project, valued at ₹98,00,000, encompasses the macadamization of key routes such as the Distributory Road (Parshuram Chowk to Nagri Adda) and the road from DC Office to Housing Colony, with full scope detailed in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ). A mandatory Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,96,000 is required, payable to the Executive Engineer PWD R and B division Kathua, alongside a non-refundable tender fee of ₹1,500. Tender documents will be available for download from 10:00 AM on 27-Jun-2026 until 04:00 PM on 07-Jul-2026. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting scheduled for 01:00 PM on 30-Jun-2026 at the office of the Executive Engineer PWD R and B division Kathua to address any clarifications. Online bid submission will commence at 10:00 AM on 27-Jun-2026 and conclude promptly at 04:00 PM on 07-Jul-2026. Technical and financial bids will be opened on 08-Jul-2026 at 01:00 PM at the same location. The successful bidder will be expected to complete the entire scope of work within a period of 30 days. Bidders must submit their proposals in two covers: Cover 1 for Fee/Pre-Qualification/Technical documents, including the scanned copy of EMD and all relevant NIT/SBD documents, and Cover 2 for the Financial bid (BOQ).
