Work Description - Up-gradation / Minor Repair Work Of General Pool Residential Accomodation (t-iii/3 Nos. Of Qtrs Block No.-1 And 3, T-iv/1 No. Of Qtrs Block No. 3 At Upper Kaithu, Under Rrb Section Shimla. (sh- Electrical Work)

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) is inviting open tenders for the Up-gradation / Minor Repair work of General Pool Residential Accommodation at upper Kaithu, Shimla. This composite tender, NIT/RFP NO 150/EEE/ShCED/CPWD/2025-26, encompasses electrical works with an estimated cost of ₹ 9,28,525 and a time allowance of 3 months for completion. Bidders must submit their offers by 3:00 PM on November 29th, 2025, with the bid opening scheduled for 3:30 PM on the same day. Key requirements include an EMD of ₹ 18,571 payable to The Executive Engineer (Elect.), Shimla Central Electrical Division, CPWD, Longwood, Shimla, and several mandatory documents such as enlistment order of the CPWD contractors in appropriate class in composite category. Bidders must have valid electrical contractor licence OR undertaking that they will either obtain valid electrical licence at the time of execution of electrical work or associate contractor having valid electrical licence of appropriate class. Further mandatory documents include Insurance Surety Bond/ Demand Draft/ Account Payee Bankers Cheque / FDR/ Bank Guarantee of any commercial Bank against EMD., copy of receipt of deposition of original EMD issued from division office of any Executive Engineer, CPWD (including NIT issuing EE)., GST registration certificate, if applicable and ERP training certificate from any CPWD Regional Training Institute (RTIs).
