Indian Army Electrical Infrastructure: Transformer Repair and HT Cable Replacement Services

This includes excavation in trenches up to 1.5 meters wide, returning and filling of excavated material, and its subsequent directed disposal. The tender also covers the removal of existing cables and the supply and installation of new 95 sqmm 3-core XLPE HT cables, including sand cushioning for PVC cables, and the provision of unreinforced pre-cast flat concrete cable protection. Furthermore, the scope includes the supply and fitting of heat shrinkable cable jointing kits for 11KV earthed grade cables and GI tubing for the protection of LT cables. Critical transformer-related works are also specified, such as the careful dismantling, disconnection, and shifting of a 63 KVA transformer from its existing pole/plinth to a workshop.
