Comprehensive Short-Term Vehicle and Ambulance Hiring Services for Indian Army Operations

The Department of Military Affairs, under the Ministry of Defence, is pleased to announce a tender for comprehensive short-term cab and taxi hiring services, alongside bus hiring services and ambulance services. This procurement, identified by Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7764002, is being managed by the Indian Army and will be open for bidding from 22-08-2026 at 11:00 AM until 24-08-2026 at 11:00 AM. The tender encompasses a diverse range of requirements, including local sedan taxi services for approximately 50 Kms x 5 Hrs (totaling 120 Kms), and extensive outstation sedan services with kilometer packages of 0-400 Kms (totaling 8960 Kms), 0-600 Kms (totaling 3840 Kms), and additional provisions for one-way/return journeys with night halts as required. Finally, the tender also seeks event-based and short-term ambulance services, specifically Type B patient transport vehicles with single stretchers, in a regular van configuration, without specific preference, and available for one-way/return journeys and night halts.
