The Urban Development Department, through the Chairman of the Barpeta Municipal Board, Barpeta, invites eligible bidders for an Open Tender (NIT No. 10 of 2026-27) for the "Supply, Delivery, installation and commissioning of CWPP (Community Water Purification Plant) with Solar Pump Set installed in the Shallow Tube Well capable of removing contaminants." This significant works project, falling under the Civil Works - Water Works category, is valued at ₹ 1,57,20,000 (Rupees One Crore Fifty-Seven Lakh Twenty Thousand Only) and encompasses execution at 6 different locations within the Barpeta Municipal Board (BMB) area. The initiative is funded under the Tied Grant of the 15th FC Award for the year 2025-26 (1st & 2nd Installment). Prospective bidders are required to pay a Tender Fee of ₹ 5,000, for which an exemption is allowed, and provide an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹ 3,14,400, with exemption also being permissible. Tender documents will be available for download from June 18, 2026, 03:00 PM, until July 08, 2026, 03:00 PM. Bid submission will commence on June 18, 2026, 04:00 PM, and conclude on July 08, 2026, 03:00 PM. The bids, comprising separate Technical and Financial covers, will be opened on July 08, 2026, at 04:00 PM at the BMB Office.
