The Department of Military Affairs, Ministry of Defence, acting through the Indian Army, is pleased to announce an upcoming tender opportunity with Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7543023. This significant procurement exercise, scheduled to commence on 11-08-2026 at 11:00 AM and conclude on 12-08-2026 at 11:00 AM, seeks a comprehensive supply of networking and electrical equipment totaling 1527 units. The scope of this tender encompasses a wide array of essential components, including MER Routers, Anti-Static Mats, IADs, various types of Equipment Racks (42U and 12U wall-mount), UTP Cable Cat 6, IP Radios, and a diverse selection of SFP modules (10GLR, 10G SR, 1G SR, 1G LR, and 1G Electrical). Furthermore, the tender includes requirements for Patch Cords (LC-LC, LC-E2K in 20 Mtr and E2K-E2K in 10 Mtr), Rack Mount FDMS 24F, Krone Modules, IDF/MDF panels, Jumper Wire (200 Mtr), SIP Video and Audio Phones, Wall Mount DP (50 Pair), JFC Joint Closures (24F), and various battery solutions including OTE, 12V 75 AHC Batteries, 12V 42 AHC Batteries, and Battery Racks. The electrical infrastructure component is robust, covering Service Power Cables (3 Phase with 50 mm Copper), Lightening Arresters, Changeover Switches (63 Amps), 3-Phase Stabilizers (30 KVA), Power Boards, Power Cables (1.5 mm and 2.5 mm, 90 Mtrs each), MCBs (32 Amps and 16 Amps), and comprehensive earthing solutions comprising Chemical Earth Rods with Copper Strip Oblique, Chemical Earthing Tripods, Earthing Cables (10 sqmm), and Surge Protection Devices. Importantly, the tender also includes provisions for Cable Laying Charges, encompassing the installation of laying chambers, route markers, and splicing duct pipes.
