The Military Engineer Services (MES), E-IN-C Branch, through the office of the GE Silchar located at Masimpur Cantt, invites eligible contractors for an Open Tender (Reference Number: 8141A/E8) for "Works" under an Item Rate contract. The scope of work involves repair and maintenance services, including the conversion of existing overhead LT ACSR cable to underground cable, and miscellaneous maintenance services such as the replacement of poles, ACSR conductor, and cross arms in Masimpur Military Station, including Army Establishments at Kumbhigram. The estimated tender value is ₹44,60,000, with a completion period of 270 days for work to be executed in Masimpur. A non-refundable tender fee of ₹500 and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹89,200 (2.0%) are required, both payable to GE Silchar. EMD exemption through BG/ST is permitted.
