Marine LAN System Installation and Commissioning for Fleet Support Ship VC11200

Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, is inviting bids for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a comprehensive Marine Local Area Network (LAN) system for the Fleet Support Ship VC11200. This critical project, with Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7831757, commences on 28-07-2026 at 2:22 PM and concludes on 17-08-2026 at 3:00 PM. The scope of work encompasses a wide array of essential IT and networking infrastructure, including various rack units (42U, 16U), server hardware (2U inch Rack Servers, Hybrid Storage Units), network switches (L3, L2), KVM switches, a substantial quantity of single-mode fibre optic patch cords, and robust desktop and All-in-One PCs for both Admin LAN (LAN-1) and Internet LAN (LAN-2). Power management solutions are also a key component, featuring 1KVA UPS for PCs, a 20 KVA On-Line UPS, a 5KVA Marineised Rack-based UPS, and a 30 KVA Isolation Transformer. The tender also includes the provision of all required software licenses, a suite of high-performance printers and plotters (A4 and A3 MFD Laser Printers, A0 Size plotter), IP56 compliant Input/Output boxes for both LAN segments, laptops, and specialized marine-grade components such as mil-grade connectors, IP56 LIU boxes, marine-grade single-mode fibre optic cables, and Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) CAT 6A cables. The total quantity of items is 2069. Successful bidders will also be responsible for providing installation and commissioning materials, miscellaneous items, on-board spares, drawings and documentation, comprehensive training, and service support with extended warranty.
