The E-in-C Branch - Military Engineer Services, through the CHIEF ENGINEER RND SECUNDERABAD, located at OPP JUBILEE BUS STATION, PICKET, SECUNDERABAD 500003, invites eligible contractors for an Open Tender for "SPECIAL REPAIRS TO BUILDING NOS P-39, P-40 AND P-41 OF SCIENTISTS HOSTEL AT NSTL UNDER AGE I RND NSTL VISAKHAPATNAM". This critical Civil Works project, with an estimated value of ₹1,59,00,000, is located in NSTL Visakhapatnam and is expected to be completed within 180 days. The contract will be awarded on an Item Rate basis under Tender Reference Number 87182. Prospective bidders are advised to note the following crucial dates: documents can be downloaded from 06-Jul-2026 06:55 PM until 17-Aug-2026 06:55 PM. Bid submissions will commence on 10-Aug-2026 06:55 PM and conclude on 17-Aug-2026 06:55 PM. The technical and financial bids will be opened on 19-Aug-2026 11:00 AM at the office of the CHIEF ENGINEER RND SECUNDERABAD. A non-refundable Tender Fee of ₹1,000 and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹2,34,000 are required. The Tender Fee and EMD are payable to the ASSISTANT GARRISON ENGINEER I RND NSTL VISAKHAPATN at VISAKHAPATNAM, with EMD exemption through BG/ST allowed. Bids must be submitted in two covers: Cover 1 for Fee/Pre-Qualification/Technical documents and Cover 2 for Finance (BOQ). Eligibility criteria include being a Class B category a(i) MES enlisted firm. Unenlisted firms must submit a scanned copy of the MES enlisted letter (if applicable), GST details, a notarized list of works completed in the last five years indicating department, an affidavit confirming no pending recovery from government departments/PSUs, a copy of passport, and other documents as per MES enlistment criteria for B class category a(i).
