Central Public Works Department (CPWD), a Central Government Ministry/Department, invites open tenders for the construction of a significant infrastructure project at IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal. This project encompasses the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a G+8 storied building comprising two Girls' Hostels (double occupancy, Blocks 3 & 4) and three Boys' Hostels (Blocks 3 & 4 double occupancy, Block 2 single occupancy), along with Dining and Kitchen facilities (G+2/3), a Substation building (G), and all associated internal water supply, sanitary installations, internal electrical installation, lifts, fire fighting systems, central air-conditioning, DG set, substation equipment, IBMS, communication system (data/network IP telephone system), external lighting, CCTV, Solar Photo Voltaic Power Generation system, road, cycle track, cycle parking, footpath, strom water drain, rain water harvesting, horticulture, landscaping, sewerage treatment plant, cycle shed, and car parking. The contract includes operation and maintenance of all civil, horticulture, electrical, and mechanical services for five years. The estimated cost of the project is ₹ 4,59,012. A bid security (EMD) of ₹ 9,180 is required, payable via DD, FDR, CDR, BC, TC, or BG in favour of the Executive Engineer & Senior Manager (c), IIT Kharagpur Project Division-I, CPWD Kharagpur.
