The E-IN-C Branch of the Military Engineer Services, through the Garrison Engineer M NAS Arakkonam, invites open tenders for "SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT OF SCHOOL CLASS ROOM AT KV SCHOOL AND SPECIAL REPAIRS TO STORM WATER DRAIN NEAR JUNIOR SAILOR ININLIVING BLOCKS AT INS RAJALI NAS ARAKKONAM". This is a works contract with an estimated tender value of ₹43,50,000. The contract will follow an item rate format, and the period of work is 120 days with bid validity set for 60 days. Interested bidders can download the tender documents starting from April 24, 2025, at 03:10 PM until May 15, 2025, at 06:00 PM. Bid submissions are accepted from May 08, 2025, at 09:00 AM until May 15, 2025, at 06:00 PM. The bid opening date is scheduled for May 17, 2025, at 09:00 AM at the office of Garrison Engineer M NAS Arakkonam. A tender fee of ₹500 and an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹87,000, representing 2% of the tender value, are required. The EMD should be payable to the Garrison Engineer M NAS Arakkonam, payable at Arakkonam. Offline payment modes, including demand drafts, are accepted. Bidders must submit required documents which include scanned copies of the application letterhead, DD infavour of Garrison Engineer (M) NAS Arakkonam, enlistment letter for the cyclic period of 2020-2025 or, in case of unenlisted contractors scanned copies of documents meeting enlistment criteria as per NIT. Bidders must also submit valid GST registration and provident fund number of the firm, along with the BOQ in separate covers as described in the tender document. Withdrawal is allowed for this tender.
